Manga Rosa was born in 2007, envisioned by Claudia de Oliveira, in the Poble Sec neighbourhood, in the city of Barcelona. The concept was that of a small bar, but it soon became small due to the great success built with lots of love and dedication and transformed into a restaurant too.
In 2016, it opened its second door in the Eixample neighbourhood, in the same city. Her eldest son was always by his mother's side, helping at the register and with the delicious cocktails. Her daughter also participated in the management of the company, and the youngest son joined the company in 2016, making this family business one of the most renowned names in Brazilian cuisine in Barcelona.
Manga Rosa was always synonymous with a joyful, casual, friendly and, above all, family atmosphere. Stage for great gatherings, music, shows. Setting for many birthdays celebrated in its rooms, visited by important brazucas artists, number 1 in supporting Brazilian art in the Ciudad Condal.
Claudia, native to the city of Goiânia, Brazil, always placed her bets on the flavors of Goiás in her dishes. Restaurant food with a mother's flavor. The name Manga Rosa became so popular for Brazilians and many Spaniards that it became difficult to separate Claudia from Manga Rosa, which is why everyone knows her as Claudia Manga Rosa.
Claudia Manga Rosa never stopped innovating and keeping up with the market. In this year 2026, she takes a new step... Manga Rosa Buffet. “Manga Rosa Catering”, in Spanish. But her grand project with an important investment in 2026 begins transforming her hit products into their own brand. Her clients will see products in frozen food stores all over Spain and a pimenta en salsa that is a success in the restaurant. All of this, of course, with the Manga Rosa brand and quality.
